The earliest known member of my Mettler (Metler) family tree is my Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great Grandfather " Johann George Mettler ( 1 ) " who was born in April 2, 1696 presumably in Holland. Efforts to establish who his parents were have been futile up to this point .....
For ease of identification within this document each family member has a number that is referenced through this entire document. That is, " Johann " is number ( 1 ), since he is the oldest known family member, his first child " Marie Metter " is number ( 2 ), his 2nd child " Johann Philip Metter " is number ( 3 ), and so on .....
or questions on this family line please email me at: Thanks, and I hope you enjoy this short history of the Mettler Family.
