was possibly the older brother of :
" Henry Stubbs ( 1 ) "

" William B. Stubbs " was born in 1816 in Delaware and first shows up in the 1840 census as residing in Murderkill Hundred, Kent County, Delaware.

The " William Stubbs " that shows up in the 1840 census could also have been the dad of " William B. Stubbs " who would have been about 24 years old at that time and " William B. Stubbs " is " possibly " the brother of " Henry Stubbs ( 1 ) ".

" William " married " Emiline B. 'Emily' Lewis " on April 21, 1844 in Delaware.   She was born on October 11, 1823 in Delaware and is 26 years old.   She was the daughter of " Robert Lewis " and " Ann Newton Lewis ".

They first show up as a family in the 1850 Federal Census ( Recorded: August 31, 1850 ) residing on a farm located in Murderkill Hundred, Kent County, Delaware.   " William " is noted as a 34 year old " Farmer " and " Emily " is noted as being a 26 year old " Homemaker " raising their " 3 " oldest children :

Stubbs " passed away at the age of 17 years, 6 months, and 7 days old from Small Pox.   He was also interred in the North Cedar Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.

In the 1880 Federal Census ( Recorded: June 1, 1880 ) they are now residing in a home located at 2206 Jefferson Street, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.   " William " is noted as a 63 year old " Carpenter " and " Emily " is noted as being a 56 year old " Homemaker ".   " 4 " of their children are residing with them :
